Palestinian officials continue to slander the Jewish state with anti-Semitic tropes, despite the aid Israel has extended to the Palestinian Authority.
Official Palestinian Authority (PA) Spokesman Ibrahim Melhem recently falsely claimed that the rate of coronavirus infection is “high among the Israelis” because “they prioritize money.”
“They don’t want to stop the wheels of production, and so they are sacrificing the infected among their people in order to make more money,” lied Melhem.
In reality, Israel began ramping down economic activities almost immediately when the virus arrived, closing off borders, shutting down air travel, and limiting residents’ movement, all of which required major financial sacrifices.
