“I’m unreservedly optimistic [about peace]. The price that I paid is something my family and I live with day in and day out,” says bereaved husband of terror victim who believes Israel should extend its sovereignty.

Dafna Meir, a 38-year-old mother of six, was stabbed to death in January 2016 by a Palestinian terrorist inside her home in the Jewish community of Otniel, south of Hebron. Her husband Natan Meir has since remarried and continues to build his family.

Natan believes that Israel should extend its sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River, including the historic Jewish homeland of Judea and Samaria that the Palestinian Authority is claiming for a future Palestinian state.

In this video, Natan explains his opposition to another Oslo-type of agreement and why he is nevertheless optimistic about peaceful coexistence with the neighboring Arab population.
