Hundreds of Kurds fleeing villages held by the Islamic State (ISIS) terror organization in northern Syria amid a wave of mass abductions have been shot at, with several killed or wounded, opposition activists and a Kurdish official said Saturday.
Counter to initial assessments, an ISIS terrorist who killed 3 Israelis and wounded several others may have been specifically targeting Israelis. Turkey has launched a manhunt for three of his accomplices.
Efforts by the US-led coalition to hit ISIS in its pocket by destroying cash warehouses appears to be taking some effect, and though this may weaken ISIS, experts believe this is not exactly a death-blow to the terror organization.
