When US Ambassador David Friedman’s wife reminded him about getting honey for Rosh Hashana, she was expecting a quick stop at the market to pick up some jars.
David had a completely different kind of “shopping experience” in mind, explaining to his wife that if “no pain, no gain.”
In fact, much of the US Embassy staff was needed in order to accomplish the daunting task.
