Interviewed at New York’s annual Israel Day parade, John Bolton, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, believes that the threat of global terror and American policy vis-a-vis Israel will be among the major issues in the 2016 presidential elections.
The U.S. needs to provide adequate defense capabilities to Israel, to make it clear to the entire region that America stands with Israel and to abrogate the Iran nuclear deal, he said.
According to Bolton, Washington’s policies over the past several years have helped the Middle East descend into chaos.
