Jewish Refugee of Jewish Expulsion From Middle East Addresses the UN

Regina Waldman, the chair of JIMENA (Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa) addressed the UN Human Rights Council about the massive 1948 expulsion of Jews from Arab lands.

While the world focuses on and sympathizes with the Palestinian people, the mass expulsion of Middle East Jewry in 1948 – over 800,000 Jews were kicked out of their homes in Arab countries – is virtually ignored by the entire international community.

Out of nearly one million Jews, less than 5,000 were still living in their home country at the time this speech was given!

What happened to those Jews? A few of the shocking, painful answers are given here.
