Creating the sound of a full band, the Six13 a capella group tells a proud chapter in Jewish history to the tune of an American historical play.
Award-winning Jewish a capella group Six13 performed Wednesday evening at US President Barack Obama’s annual Chanuka party, where they told the story of the holiday to the tune of the Broadway hit Hamilton.
The Obamas seemed to enjoy the entertainment.
Indeed, the president told the crowd, “If you ever have a chance to get the mix-tape, you should buy it.”
