Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu gave a powerful speech during American Independence Day celebrations, stressing the close bond between the Israel and the US. We are best friends!
Netanyahu explained that the history of the US and Israel is intertwined, connected by the Bible and specifically by the Book of Exodus which expresses the dream of freedom in the promised land.
The Prime Minister then discussed the threat of Iran, nuclear negotiations and the Islamic State before expressing appreciation that “Israel has no better friend than America and America has no better friend than Israel.”
