The Palestinian leadership has whipped the people into a frenzy of hatred. Though Salim doesn’t mention is explicitly, this is likely the cause for the “revenge” that the Palestinians seek.
When asked about when the conflict will end, Salim does not sound very hopeful, echoing the thoughts of many in Israel.
