A Palestinian official confirms it was Jews, not Arabs, who played on a Palestinian team in the 1930s, before the creation of the modern State of Israel in 1948.

In the year 135 CE, the Romans merged Roman Syria with Judea, which they renamed “Syria Palaestina,” in reference to the Philistine enemy of the Jews.

In British Mandate Palestine, before the establishment of the modern Jewish state in 1948, all residents were called “Palestinians,” referring to the geographic location.

There was never a Palestinian Arab state in the Land of Israel. Despite persecution and exile, throughout the centuries there were a continuous Jewish presence.

In this video, Dr. Saba Jarrar, a lecturer at the Arab American University in Ramallah, in an attempt to undermine Jewish rights to the Land of Israel, actually confirms that it was Jews who played on a Palestinian football team in the 1930.
