The eternal capital of the Jewish state held its fifth annual Noise Festival in February.

Every Monday of the month, a different part of the city hosted a wide array of special events including dance shows and poetry readings.

Life in Jerusalem tends to slow down during the winter months as the days shorten and the temperatures drop, but people still came out in droves to celebrate.

The festival managed to raise the spirits of the city’s residents as they re-discovered the magic of Jerusalem.

Take a look at Jerusalemites from across Israel’s religious and ethnic divides come out to celebrate the rich culture of the ancient capital.
