This video, showing footage of the Holy City from 1936 until 1967, demonstrates the eternal connection of Jerusalem to the Jewish people.
Looking at Jerusalem today, it’s shocking to see how it looked between 1948 and 1967. During that period of occupation, the Jordanians desecrated holy sights; destroyed 53 synagogues, Jewish academies and libraries, and tried their best to erase the Jewish identity from Jerusalem.
Try as they might, the Jewish connection to Jerusalem will NEVER be erased. Jerusalem will always exist in the hearts of the Jewish people and will forever remain the capital city of Israel.
