The device can read texts and barcodes; recognize faces; identify products, money notes and colors; and even tell the user the time and date. It does this by conveying visual information audibly.
OrCam’s wearable AI-driven MyEye 2 artificial vision device will now be available to members of the Rochester, N.Y.-based American Council of the Blind at a special discount, according to a recent agreement.
