On Simchat Torah, Jews around the world celebrate the completion of the yearly reading of the Bible, a time of great joy in the Land of Israel!

As the festival of Sukkot draws to a close, the Jewish people prepare to celebrate “Simchat Torah,” the culmination of the autumn holidays during which the yearly reading of the Five Books of Moses is completed.

The holiday is a time of great joy, and spontaneous rounds dancing and singing often break out in Israel.
