MedAware uses big-data analytics to identify and prevent prescription errors in real-time.

In the US, each pharmacist handles over 200 prescriptions daily. The potential for dangerous and even fatal errors is enormous, and the risks are real.

Inspired by the death of a child who was prescribed the wrong drug, MedAware, an Israeli company, was founded in 2012 by an expert team with extensive background in business, information technology and clinical practice.

By identifying and preventing prescription errors in real time, MedAware’s solution saves lives, improves patient safety and significantly reduces healthcare costs resulting from prescription errors and adverse drug events.
