Two Israelis who have overcome seemingly-insurmountable odds to reach the Olympic games met to exchange tips and play a game of table tennis.

Former Israeli Air Force pilot Noam Gershony was severely injured during the Second Lebanon War when his helicopter collided with another helicopter, leaving his co-pilot dead and Gershony severely crippled.

After undergoing extensive rehabilitation, he began playing tennis and represented Israel in the Paralympic games in London where he won the gold medal.

Cpl. Caroline Tabib is a talented table tennis player who will represent Israel at the Paralympics games this coming September.
