Meet “Al-Munasseq,” a new robot created by COGAT that eases communication between PA residents and Israel, eliminating unnecessary stress.

Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) has created an Arabic-language robot app for residents of the Palestinian Authority-run territories of Judea and Samaria, easing communication and eliminating unnecessary bureaucratic stress.

Arabs residing in the PA territories often face unnecessary hurdles when traveling to and from Israel, among other challenges. Certain services and regulations are outside the scope of their local authorities.

With the ongoing conflict, communication with Israeli authorities by Palestinians can be problematic.

Israel has developed a creative solution, allows them to interact in Arabic by asking questions and receiving answers from “Al-Munasseq”!

Today, COGAT launched the “chat-bot,” a unique digital service for Palestinian residents. From now on, Palestinian residents who enter the COGAT website in Arabic will be able to receive an immediate response to their questions. We receive questions daily about important and vital information for everyday life regarding employment, permits, crossings and more. This is a significant upgrade in the user experience developed for the benefit of the Palestinian residents. COGAT makes efforts every day to improve the Palestinian fabric of life, and we intend to continue to develop the field of digital services.
