The Israel Defense Forces attacked and destroyed an Islamic Jihad terrorist cell that had fired four rockets into northern Israel from Syria.

On Friday, Israel eliminated several terrorists in Syria including Mohsan Issa, a senior Syrian colonel along with his aides.

The IDF reported that the cell was “struck 10 to 15 kilometers from the border, in territory under the complete control of the Syrian army,” and that cell “was directed by Iran.”

Israel’s Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon warned “those seeking to do so will know that the IDF and the security system will pursue them until the end.”
