The Islamic State (ISIS) continues to leave a trail of destruction behind in Syria as it destroys ancient structures and religious symbols that do not coincide with Islam.
ISIS has destroyed an ancient Christian monastery which it refers to as a “polytheistic temple in the town of Al-Qaryatain.”
The goal of ISIS is to bring about Islamic rule over the entire world.
