“It’s time to stand up” to Iran, Pompeo declared, adding his hope that the rest of the world will join American efforts to prevent the Islamic Republic from attaining nuclear weapons.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Jerusalem on Monday and thanked him and the President Donald Trump for strengthening the US-Israel friendship and for Israeli security.

Pompeo, in response, stressed that Trump “has made clear [that] Iran will never have a nuclear weapon…

“It’s time to stand up” to Iran, he stated, adding that “the rest of the world should join us to create a more stable and prosperous Middle East.”
