The organization is also helping Israelis during the coronavirus pandemic, when no one is traveling, to help its alumni get back home.

Eyal Biram, CEO of the non-profit ISRAEL-is, was an IDF officer in an elite combat unit.

After serving in the 2014 Gaza War, he traveled abroad and understood that Israel was misrepresented in the media, prompting him to establish ISRAEL-is, an apolitical organization training soldiers who travel abroad after completing their army service to be “ambassadors” of Israel. The non-profit works together with the IDF.
