The IDF says the building, where dozens were hurt, was being used as a storage facility for weapons meant to target Israel.

In Gaza, 36 people were injured over the weekend in an explosion in Beit Hanoun.

The IDF Arabic-language spokesman tweeted that the explosion was “the result of storing weapons inside residents’ homes.” Unfortunately, innocent civilians often pay the price, he said.

The Gaza Strip is ruled by the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas, which aims to destroy the Jewish State. Hamas regularly stores weapons in civilian homes, schools and hospitals. It often uses men, women and children as human shields as a military tactic.
