Israelis were again forced to sprint for cover as hundreds of Hamas rockets rained down from Gaza.

Over the weekend, Hamas terrorists fired over 200 rockets at civilians in Israel’s south, threatening the lives of tens of thousands of Israelis. The Iron Dome anti-missile defense system intercepted some 20 rockets.

Several Israelis were injured and damage was caused to buildings and property, including a synagogue.

While relative peace returned to the south on Sunday morning, Israelis are aware that it may only be a matter of time until civilians are again forced to run for shelter the next time Hamas rocket terror strikes.
