Fatah Revolutionary Council Member Hassan Shtewi appeared on PA TV to praise Palestinians who had murdered Israelis in the latest wave of violence.
He proclaimed that the murders of Israeli citizens are “heroic acts that greatly terrify the occupation” and called on Palestinian organizational elites to provide support for families of terrorists.
Shtewi and other PA officials have been making great efforts to encourage everyday Palestinians to take up arms against Israel.
In recent music videos and TV programs, the PA and Hamas have urged supporters to raise the level of violence from knife attacks to shootings and bus bombings.
