Members of the ruling Fatah party threatened Palestinians and Arab leaders who dared to attend last week’s U.S.-led workshop in Bahrain designed to give Palestinians a $50 billion economic boost for making peace with Israel.

In a recent video posted to the internet, a gaggle of masked and armed Palestinians issue vicious threats to their brethren, threatening to “hunt them down” and “strike them with an iron fist.”

What dastardly crime are these would-be victims guilty of? They deigned to attend last week’s peace conference in Bahrain, at which representatives of Arab nations were presented with the Trump administration’s vision for assisting Palestinian society with tens of billions of dollars in economic programs and opportunities for growth.

The menacing figures in this video are not part of some fringe faction, however, identifying instead with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party.
