Egyptian President el-Sisi introduced education reforms that will include teaching students about the peace accords between Israel and Egypt.

El-Sisi is trying to counter efforts by the Muslim Brotherhood to radicalize Egyptian society.

He has also made attempts to undo the harm done by former Islamist president Mohammed Morsi, himself a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and supporter of Hamas.

This move comes as Sunni Arab states are seeking to establish diplomatic ties with Israel as a result of Iran’s hostilities in the region.

Take a look at how Egypt is finally about to start teaching its children that the Jews are not the “enemy” 38 years after the signing of peace accords between the two countries.
