Prime Minister Netanyahu recently said that the Mufti of Jerusalem talked Hitler into carrying out the systematic murder of six million Jews. It is unclear whether this is actually true, but the Mufti certainly was responsible for inciting to murder Jews in British-Mandate Palestine.
The Mufti was the forebear to modern Palestinian terrorists. He organized countless terrorist attacks including the 1929 Hebron massacre and 1936 Arab Revolt that claimed the lives of hundreds of Jews.
