This is the beautiful, thriving Israeli town of Eli, located in the Benjamin region of Judea and Samaria.

Founded in 1984, the Jewish community of Eli, named for Eli the High Priest, the last priest to serve in the Tabernacle in nearby Shiloh, is located in the Benjamin region of Samaria.

As a result of anti-Israel propaganda, many people around the world mistakenly believe that Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria – the biblical heartland of Israel – which they call the “West Bank,” are an obstacle to peace.
