“Unless the Palestinian government and leaders around the world unequivocally condemn these acts of terror, there is little chance it will stop,” said Rep. Hastings.

US Congressmen Alcee Hastings (D-FL) and Rob Woodall (R-GA) introduced on Wednesday a bipartisan House resolution condemning Palestinian incitement and reaffirming America’s commitment to Israel.

Hundreds of terrorist attacks have been carried out in Israel throughout the past year and a half. Even as stabbings, shootings, and car-ramming attacks occur nearly every day, the international community has failed to clearly condemn these blatant acts of terrorism,” said Hastings. “That is why Rep. Woodall and I introduced this bi-partisan resolution, which clearly illustrates the severity of the violence and urges the international community to speak up.”

“Unless the Palestinian government and leaders around the world unequivocally condemn these acts of terror, there is little chance it will stop,” he stressed.

“The United States has no greater friend than the State of Israel, and our commitment to its people must be unwavering,” said Woodall.

“The Palestinian Authority’s incitement of violence and acts of terror against the people of Israel has led to more than 300 incidents since 2015 – most recently on January 8 of this year when four IDF cadets were killed and 17 more wounded by a Palestinian attack in Jerusalem. Condemning these acts and standing with our friend and ally is crucial to the safety of Israel, the region, and freedom-loving people across the world,” he stressed.

“I’m proud to again partner with my good friend Rep. Hastings in introducing this resolution, and am grateful for his leadership on this issue.”

The resolution, condemning Palestinian incitement and reaffirming the special bond between Israel and the United States, lists 266 of the more than 300 terror attacks carried out in Israel since September 2015, beginning with the first lone-wolf attack and ending with the vehicular-ramming attack that occurred on January 8, 2017, on Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv promenade.

According to Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Palestinian terrorists have targeted Israeli citizens in 169 stabbings, 124 shooting, 51 vehicular attacks, and 1 bus bombing since the wave of violence began in September 2015.
