At a peaceful demonstration in New York this week, members of the Orthodox community expressed support for their black neighbors protesting injustice.

While coverage of violent riots has taken center stage following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police, there are pockets of peaceful protests being staged across the U.S., with members of various ethnic and religious communities showing support for one another during this trying time.

In Queens, New York, prominent members of the Orthodox Jewish community addressed a peaceful rally alongside their black neighbors to show solidarity in the push for justice.

While anti-Semitic graffiti has marred protests in other locations, the organizers and attendees of this event took the opportunity to promote harmony among their communities.
