Meet Yerucham, a volunteer food delivery driver for over 20 years and hero who goes beyond his disabilities to give to others.

The Home Front Command, Yad Ezra V’Shulamit and volunteers joined together to deliver hundreds of Pesach food packages door to door and to elderly people who couldn’t come pick up a basket.

As Israel prepares for a full lockdown, Yad Ezra V’Shulamit will continue delivering urgent food supplies to the poor of Israel.

This year, the government proposes to supplement food baskets for each poor family to the tune of 14 shekels ($4) for the holidays. At that rate, the funding doesn’t cover the cost of a jar of honey.
