Roger Waters has falsely labeled the Jewish State a “racist apartheid regime” and promotes the anti-Semitic canard that Israel is guilty of ‘”ethnic cleansing.”

Baseball is known as America’s favorite pastime, but Major League Baseball (MLB) struck out miserably by deciding to help promote the upcoming North American concert tour of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel activist and BDS supporter Roger Waters. is among the organizations that sponsored ticket sales for Waters’ “This Is Not a Drill” tour, which “was part of an ad buy by AEG/Concerts West for multiple concert tours,” reported The Associated Press

On Saturday, AP reported that “Major League Baseball will not schedule any more advertising on its platforms promoting music artist Roger Waters.”

Prior to the announcement, B’nai B’rith International President Charles O. Kaufman and CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin sent a letter to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred expressing “deep dismay” at’s promotion of pre-sale tickets for the concert tour.

“Waters is an avowed anti-Semite whose views on Jews and Israel far exceed the boundaries of civil discourse,” they charged.

They detailed several examples of the singer’s deplorable behavior, noting that he has “performed while displaying a large inflatable pig prominently marked with a Star of David.”

They also cited his involvement “in the discriminatory, anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement” and noted that he “castigates other musicians for performing in Israel” and has falsely labeled the Jewish State a ‘racist apartheid regime’ while claiming that Israel is guilty of ‘ethnic cleansing.’”

The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) said it was “horrified” by MLB’s involvement in selling tickets for the tour.

ZOA said that baseball’s involvement in the concert tour’s ticket sales is outrageous “especially in an era when attacks against American Jews have become an epidemic.”
