Security forces eliminated a female Palestinian terrorist who drove onto a sidewalk at the Gush Etzion junction, aiming to maim and kill IDF soldiers stationed there.

IDF security forces shot and killed a female Palestinian terrorist who drove her car Friday morning into a group of soldiers at the Gush Etzion junction in Judea, lightly injuring one soldier in the leg.

The victim, approximately 20 years of age, was hurt in the leg and evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center after being treated by Magen David Adom paramedics.

After the incident, soldiers discovered a knife in the terrorist’s car, indicating that she likely intended to stab others.

The Gush Etzion junction has been the site of multiple attacks since the beginning of the current wave of Palestinian violence, during which stabbings and car-rammings have been the most popular form of terror.
