A Cal State professor with a history of promoting anti-Israel propaganda falsely claimed “non-Jews [with coronavirus] will be put in mass prisons” by Israel.

As’ad AbuKhalil, a Lebanese-American professor of political science at California State University, Stanislaus, recently accused Israel of performing “different medical procedures for Jews and non-Jews” with regard to the deadly coronavirus.

His tweet is completely false. Israel not only provides cutting-edge treatment to all citizens to combat the deadly virus, regardless of ethnicity or religion, it has also extended help to the Palestinian Authority to assist it in treating the virus and preventing it from spreading.

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a nationally televised address telling the nation that the virus does “not differentiate” between Jews and non-Jews.

AbuKhalil’s slanderous comments about Israel are part of a dangerous spike in anti-Semitic rhetoric on social media platforms related to the coronavirus.

“Other Twitter and Facebook accounts continued to echo the extremist rhetoric found on fringe platforms, accusing Jews and/or Israel of creating the virus to kill non-Jews or so that they can profit from the vaccine,” explained the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in a recent statement.

AbuKhalil stopped short of blaming the Jews or Israel for the virus, but nonetheless exploited this tragic global health crisis to demonize Israel by spreading ridiculous lies.

Why does Cal State tolerate a professor who pushes obvious lies about the world’s only Jewish state?

Tell Cal State to boot the hate, and send this professor packing!
