A top adviser to PA head Abbas warned that “those seeking knives today will seek rifles and weapons tomorrow” and that they’re “preparing for stronger waves of rage against the Zionist enemy.”

A recent interview by one of Abbas’s chief advisers, translated and publicized by Palestinian Media Watch, demonstrates the vicious lies disseminated by the Palestinian leadership and the incitement to commit acts of terror against Israelis.

In an interview this month published on Falestinona, the website of Fatah’s Information and Culture Commission in Lebanon, Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu Al-Einein, a senior adviser to Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, praised the current Palestinian “popular uprising” – the terror wave in which Palestinians have murdered 28 Israelis and wounded 287 since the Jewish New Year in mid-September – for supposedly “wearing the ‘occupation’ down and making it lose sleep.”

“We in the Fatah movement are proud of all the Martyrs, regardless of their [political] affiliation,” he said, blessing them and singling out for extra praise the Hebron terrorists who “have sown fear in all of this cancerous Israeli body.”

He justified the terror wave, saying that the “uprising” was created because of “what is happening in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and throughout Palestine” – a reference to the PA libel that Israel is seeking to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“Blessings to all of our Martyrs, to the residents of Jerusalem who had the honor of igniting the first spark of this activity, to all those who followed in their footsteps in the rest of the homeland, and to the residents of the Hebron district [a hotbed of Palestinian terror], who have sown fear in all of this cancerous Israeli body,” he said.

“Those who think that the popular uprising or the activity of the young are likely to end, or that its effects are likely to end, are deluded, because the reasons that led to the uprising still exist,” he said.

“This is because it [the uprising] was originally created for specific goals, and those reasons still exist, in light of what is happening in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and throughout Palestine, where Israel exaggerates in its systematic racist elimination of the dreams of children not yet born. What is being carried out daily against our Palestinian people is what stirs the emotions of our people in the street and what causes them to seek a knife.”

“In my opinion,” he continued, “those seeking knives today will seek rifles and weapons tomorrow due to this [Israeli] terror. If the power and pace of the uprising wane a bit, that does not mean it has been stopped, but rather that it is preparing for stronger waves of rage against the Zionist enemy.”

Abu Al-Einein also made the outrageous claim that his movement is essentially non-violent and that the current wave of terror is merely a means of defense against the “occupation,” which “murders with no reason or excuse and with no legal justification.”

“We adhere to non-violent resistance,” he stated. “However, if they use violence against us and attack our peaceful homes, we have the right to defend ourselves and fight.”

He also repeated PA allegations that Israel has fabricated the many stabbing attacks only as an excuse to murder innocent Palestinians in “cold blood.”
