Amb. Yoram Ettinger and journalist Mohammad al-Kassim debate whether the US would be right to scrap UNRWA funding and the Palestinian “right of return.”

In an address at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies summit in Washington on Tuesday, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said the Trump administration is looking to scrap the Palestinian “right of return” – whereby 5 million Palestinian “refugees” would be given the right to “return” to the Land of Israel – and to end all funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).

Responding to the news that the US is set to end all funding to UNRWA, former Israeli Ambasssador to the US Yoram Ettinger and Mohammad al-Kassim, senior Middle East correspondent at 124News, debate US policy on these issues.
