This makes the cancer very difficult to treat without spreading the disease to other parts of the body.

Mesothelioma is resistant to most of the approved cancer drugs used today.

A team led by Israeli researchers, however, has made great progress in searching for a method to stop the growth and spreading of mesothelioma cells, thus giving hope to tens of thousands of patients around the world.
