Hundreds of thousands attended the funeral of revered spiritual leader Rabbi Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman on Tuesday, who passed away at the age of 104.

Rabbi Aharon Yehuda Leib Shteinman, a Torah giant and one of the most revered leaders in the haredi (ultra-Orthodox) world, passed away Tuesday morning at Maayanei Hayeshua hospital in B’nei Brak, a religious suburb of Tel Aviv. He was 104.

Hundreds of thousands attended the funeral in B’nei Brak, which began at noon the same day.

He was laid to rest in the city’s Ponevezh cemetery, next to his wife’s grave.
