There is nothing like the celebration of Lag b’Omer in Israel, as large bonfires are lit, people sing and dance and music is blasted until late into the evening.
Neighborhoods all over Israel were rocking with the sound of music as large crowds gathered to either watch or directly take part in the festive celebration of Lag b’Omer!
The celebrations took place all over Israel and especially in Meron, the burial place of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, who we remember during this holiday. Here is a small taste of the excitement.
