Israeli agricultural development and technology are a “great strength for the State of Israel,” Netanyahu said at an exhibit on the eve of Tu B’Shvat, Israel’s New Year for Trees.
Tu B’Shvat is the Jewish New Year for trees. It is a joyful day in Israel when both children and adults go on tree-planting and agricultural field trips.
Children and teens from across Israel participated in Project Citrus Rescue, or "Sayeret Tapuz" in Hebrew. The fruit will be distributed to those in need.
