The Ka Eins Conference Center in Frankfurt is planning to host an anti-Israel event. We must urge them to cancel the event, which features explicit anti-Semitic messages.

The anti-Israel German Coordinating Circle Palestine/Israel, or Kopi, is planning to host a vicious anti-Israel event in Frankfurt in June, under the banner calling to boycott the Jewish state.

Frankfurt’s Mayor Uwe Becker has been working to cancel the event, whose organizers are adamant in having it, despite harsh criticism, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Becker has accused the event organizers of anti-Semitism, saying that anti-Israel boycotters “use the same language as the National Socialists [Nazis]… ‘Don’t Buy from Jews.’”

The event, titled “50 Years of Israeli Occupation,” is slated to take place at the Ka Eins Conference Center in Frankfurt.

Bizhan Alkanaan, a spokesman from the Ka Eins, told JPost that Kopi rented the venue for a little under $2,000. He said he would be willing to cancel the contract if either the Frankfurt Jewish community or the mayor will cover the costs of a potential lawsuit.

The Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the party of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, passed a resolution in December expressing its “disapproval and rejection of every form of BDS activity and condemns these activities as anti-Semitic.”

Additionally, the CDU compared BDS activists to the Nazis, who launched boycotts against Jews during the 1930s as a run-up to the Holocaust. BDS dresses up anti-Semitism in “new clothes of the 21st century,” the party said, referring to anti-Zionism.

We need to contact the center and call on it to redeem itself and not host an event with anti-Semitic overtones on German soil. Germany has seen enough of that!
