PA leader Abbas, who continually incites murder of Jews and glorifies terror, is demanding that an IDF soldier who shot a wounded terrorist be tried for murder and given “what he deserves.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who regularly incites his people to murder Jews and praises terrorists, is calling for justice over the elimination of a wounded Palestinian terrorist by an IDF soldier.

The soldier who shot the neutralized terrorist to death, possibly fearing he would carry out a suicide bombing, is under investigation after the release of a controversial video that lacked sound and was produced by B’tselem, an anti-Israel organization known to publish propaganda against the Jewish state and the IDF.

Since the beginning of the current wave of Palestinian terror that began six months ago, 33 Israelis have been murdered and over 400 wounded, many seriously.

A recent IDF blog explains how the Palestinian leadership creates a violent culture, inspiring young Palestinians to kill Jews. The incitement to murder Jews begins from early childhood with children’s toys, entertainment, video games, public education, social media and glorification of terror.

The fact that among Palestinians, “roughly 75% are opposed to a two-state solution and about 80% are in favor of the stabbing attacks is not surprising, because Abu Mazen [Abbas] continues to incite with lying propaganda about Al-Aqsa [Mosque], lying propaganda about [Israeli] executions [of Palestinians], and by rejecting all sincere efforts to come to negotiations,” Netanyahu stated recently.

Yet it is Abbas who stated on Tuesday, as quoted by Times of Israel, “There is a need here for a just trial that uncovers the truth and gives every one [involved] what he deserves.”
